You can go somewhere else when you get out on your own, even if your parents never do move. I know it is hard to wait, though. I couldn't wait to get out of Maryland.

Only thing I hate about where I live is that its so nice and pleasant, that a bunch of rich ass holes have to move here. Luckily they stay in their own town and have their own school district and don't bother with middle class folks.

I'll mail you some of the snow we've had here since December. You can take a whole 8 foot pile out of a parking lot.

Yeah I like it here just fine. And I could never take that heat. I need 4 distinct seasons and winters with snow.

Best day of my life, if only this could happen every year....instead as once every six years *cries*

Winters with snow get old as you start to get older, especially when you're slogging to and from work in it.

I live in Staten Island (NY). I love it here, it's quiet, snows alot (using "alot" in the American way, because back in Russia, it snows assloads more) during the winter (derp derp), and it's beautiful. I live on the Southern tip of it, and I love it.

I may move to Manhattan though. Years ago I used to go to Manhattan once or twice every 1-2 years, because I hated it. It's only a train ride (which a station is at the bottom of my block) and a ferry boat away, but I never liked it. BUT, recently, I went to MSG for a Knicks game, and the more densely populated area where people are all over, it's noisy, the BIG city, I love it.

Most of Indiana is beautiful. I have mixed fealings about Baltimore. I like my house & my little neighborhood, but there is alot of crime & the schools are not good, & most of the west side of town is not friendy at all. However, downtown is nice & it's a nice place to see a baseball game, we have a 1st class aquarium, lots of history, & a few hours west there are beautiful mountains.

I do really like where I live. Close to shops and transport, and not really that far from the CBD. Summers are too hot, though.
