I hate where I live.....do you hate where you live too?

Postby Germonica » Mon Feb 14, 2011 11:08 pm

I live in Vegas, born here. I want to move from Vegas, somewhere North, somewhere Northeast, Boise, Idaho would be cool, or Massachusetts, or Wisconsin or Syracuse, New York, but no, my parents have to destroy my hopes(hopefully I can persuede them), and say "We are staying in Nevada, because we have lived here for years" even though this damn state is a failure. I just want to move to a place that gets like on a nice day of winter like 10 inches of snow a month or something like that......I just want some snow *sniff sniff*, I want it to look like this in the winter, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhu53NJU7M0, not this http://media.travelpost.com/prod.aws/hotels/37640/Super_8_Motel_44089_1_07312006_1707498686_500.jpg.

Anyways, enough about my troubles, do you dislike where you live? If so where do you want to live?

I love where I live. I live in the SF Bay Area, and I honestly couldn't be happier. Great climate, nice people, low crime rate... The only problem is the exorbitant cost of living.

Vagas is a good place to vacation...but I'd never want to live there.

I like where I'm situated, It's a small town, quiet for the most part....

Though...I must say...This thread does seem rather bloggy...

I hate where I live.

It's in Korea. I want to move back to Cali.

If you want reasons, well, what's the point of staying in a country where you can't even speak the language normally? I have the lowest grades out of anyone in our grade, because of that reason. Also, pretty much everything is banned, in school of course.

I read the title as "I hate when I live..." I am disappoint.

Nevertheless, no. I don't particularly love Wisconsin, but the good does outweigh the bad, in my opinion. Sure, the weather sucks, but, as long as you stay inside, you can still enjoy the great cheese, custard, and root beer (or, if you prefer, real beer, which I hear is quite good).

Eh, NYC has its upsides and downsides. Personally, I'd rather living here as opposed to, say, Houston or Miami. I prefer a nor-easter over a Category 5 hurricane, thank you very much.

Every place you go, there will be good things and bad things. The trick is to find a place with bad things you can tolerate.

I call bullshit on that. Since you are making sense, I assume there's a trap and that the devil hides in your words.

I live in Quebec. Too much friggin' snow. There's a storm everyday right now. I'd like to move somewhere else... like Ottawa! Or Florida, whichever agrees to employ me

I don't hate where I live, I'm just mildly annoyed by it on occasion, in that I don't like the gas I waste being in a suburb/rural area. I don't necessarily want to leave the area, just move into the city.

Please take it! I don't think you actually want it now that it's been on the streets of Boston for a month and it is all grimy and black, but please take it.

Clean it, then we'll take it.

I didn't get a chance to build an effective snow fort this year, and I'm pissed off about it >.<

Well I sure as hell can't tolerate Vegas. Like someone else said, Vegas is good for rich people, and tourists, not so good for regular people raising a family. I am having trouble persuading my parents though since they were raised here, maybe I will have to wait another four years till college to get out of this crappy place.

There isn't enough mud in Vegas for my liking.

I've always wanted to move around just to feel how it is to live in different places but I really do love New York and I don't think I could ever leave. It would be intresting though to see if people are nicer outside of New York, as that's what I've always heard.

Definitely. Springfield, MO has too many paved spaces and sprawling strip malls, and not enough skyscrapers for its population size. Plus, it's a very religious area.
I’m mostly here for... something to do, I suppose.

I loved it up here, at least until about four months ago.

I'm in the Philly area. It's not so much the area as the house in which I happen to live at the moment.
