I am from Washington the state.
I read the subject and thought da-tah,
but then I read the OP and thought 'both are right' and I concluded that I used to use day-tah more than I do now, but I always say da-tum for the singular so the plural should naturally have the same sound.

Now on the future posts in this thread:

We don't have a literal translation for dirt bikes.

Usually, it's "Como se llama", since "te" is used for people you're familiar with, and I assume that you'd know their name.
