It's a bit cool for that sorta dress, or lack there of, he in Michigan. This place is around 70yrs old and has underinsulated floors so the only place that's fit for nudeness is upstairs where it's warmer.

I get that cold can be relative, I've lived in Melbourne and watched with amusement as workmates bundle up in multiple layers of clothing while I'm just in a t-shirt and knee-length baggy pants - but 3am in the middle of a storm in Wellington in July is quite cold enough to make standing around naked uncomfortable, thank you.

That takes money to get it installed since there's only a crawlspace under the floor. Not something that fits into the usual DIY project.

Well, in Southern California, I grew up loving the heat. Infact, I pretty much only like being warm. So I hate getting cold. I have a tile floor and I hate having cold feet so I'm always wearing my shoes and I'm never nude as I pretty much have to be outside in order to be warm and then I have worry about stepping on rocks and such. And I've tried sleeping naked but every night it becomes 30 to 40 degrees which is cold as hell to me and I rather wear clothes under than literally freeze my ass of. But I do sleep in my boxers and a shirt.

Tis not a bright idea- between the mosquito plagues during the summer and the -30 F winters, being nude is just foolish where I'm from.

Ever since I had a kid, I don't get to be naked anywhere near as much as I would like. Though that's probably a good thing. I prefer sleeping naked when possible. Sex and showers, I am naked by default. Public nudity is not my thing really, though I did go to a nudist places when I was young. Why parents would think that is the place to take a kid is beyond me, but there it is. I think they took me to a nudist beach when I was three-ish and I ran around smacking guys on the ass. At least that is what I was told.

Hell if I know. I am told that the reactions were of initial shock followed by good-natured laughter once they realized it was a toddler.

As far as why they didn't stop me, I would venture that they probably tried to, but I was a pain -no pun intended- in the ass kid, and I'm sure I didn't smack every ass in sight.

On the one hand, I'm really not a big fan of clothes -- low heat tolerance and they're quite uncomfortable and stuff. On the other hand, certain body parts feel quite unnatural and unwanted and I have little desire to be continually reminded of their existence.

By way of compromise I'm usually naked from about an hour before bedtime until shortly after my morning shower. And sometimes after strenuous exercise I undress and sit in front of a fan or air conditioner <.<

You live in Pittsburgh right? In Pennsylvania clothes are essentially mandatory.. too many biting stinging insects when its warm and... its too cold when its cold. There is no happy medium in this state at any time.
