Yes, and please explain what "international healthcare" is.

You just can't afford it because you're lazy. After all, everyone can be rich if they just work hard enough, so anyone that's poor deserves it.

Yeah, um, seconded?

I mean, I'm lucky because I got a grant that covers my health care now, but for a couple years I had to go without health insurance because it was either insurance or rent.

I'm sure my PhD thesis committee will be interested to hear about how stupid I am, though. :D

the healthcare bill is for the lower class where people like me can start going to the doctor not worrying about the bill cause finally someone understands what the lower class people are going and try to keep them healthy instead of bowing down to the corps who only care about themselfs

Too expensive now under the provisions the Americans With Disabilities Act. You have to make the trapdoors big enough to drop a wheelchair through and no one wants to spent the money to retrofit existing ones.

I am no fan of Obama's. He has yet to do a single thing for this country which I can admire as being respectable or even good, and frankly I can't quite convince myself that congress' incompetence isn't infact a conspiracy to bankrupt America to institute the Socialist state they so desperately want to create (I'm being semi-sarcastic). But all that aside, I like Obama as a man and I respect him, simply don't like his policies. And yes I did vote for him back in November.

That aside, this brings me to my next statement: as it is apparant I am no fan of Obama's, I can safely say that I firmly believe any person who claims he isn't eligible to be President as a part of that birth certificate conspiracy is loony and has waaaay too much time on their hands. They should be worrying about more significant problems, such as making our country great again.

It takes only 75 seconds for Glenn Beck to completely contradict himself (relevant bit starts at about 2:30), and it's classic arch-Conservative bullshit in action.

Thought the blatant hypocrisy of those who just don't like anyone, whether it was Bush OR Obama, was relevant.

So if I get cancer and I can't work, and end up spending all my savings to fight off the cancer because I was denied coverage due to a pre-existing condition, it's my fault?

There is no such thing. Anyone can get a job if they educate themselves properly. I am an example of this, I came from a poor family in the poorest region of the country. Do not talk to me about "fairness" in that regard. My mother lives below the poverty line and draws food stamps and welfare, and so does my brother for mental retardation. I could've made excuses, sure! I'm poor! I'm discriminated against by the wealthy! Hurrah for communism and socialism! Give me a hand out so I can continue to leech the system and do nothing wtih my life! No, I worked in highschool, I didn't party, screw women or whatever. I worked, I played sports, and I educated myself and got accepted to the US Naval Academy and I've made something of myself.

That, coming from someone from Letcher County Kentucky, is impressive. Many people up there choose to do nothing with their life, leech the system and whatnot. They're content to not have a job, coast on welfare and live in squalor. I wanted a better life. So I do not buy for a single moment that bullshit which you liberals so love to spew forth.

So I do not buy for a single moment that bullshit which you liberals so love to spew forth.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't count the political opinions of the military very high for various reasons.

Of course. Spoken like a true liberal. Ignore my success because I'm a SEAL and in your twisted view I'm some sort of babykiller. Doesn't matter that I'm successful, that I came from nothing and made myself, oh no! That doesn't fit well into your narrow views which say that there should be no success, simply mediocrity and the condoning of failure which is all liberalism is. Liberalism itself is an entire philosophy dedicated to the continuation of failure.
