What Funcoland?

Funcoland was greatness. You could then trade in two SNES games and get a new one for practically free.

I once remember getting 60$ for trading in Tetris & Dr Mario for SNES.

The only thing I remember is that Funcoland didn't have a good selection and that Babbages was the best. I got both Breath of Fire 3 and Suikoden 1 for $15 each factory sealed at the Babbages in Flagstaff. (Probably Gamestop now, haven't been there since 03.)

Babbages was the best, but there was only Funcoland in my neighborhood and you had to go to the mall to go to Babbages.

Mostly Blizzard ones. Since I was little, I played all the Warcrafts and Starcraft 2. Starcraft 2 is the current one I'm playing, but only against the computer.

Trailer for 3 sounds like it's the biggest let-down in history, and apparently square enix took over, so now it's going to be turn based JRPG combat... greeeeeat.

(Though I credit them for Drakenguard, that game was amazing to play as a kid)

HoI 3 is ehh never got it to it mainly cause my computer decidded it too advancedd for it but I loved HoI 2.

If I had any free drive space and hadn't just gotten DoW II: Retribution, I might try it out.

Also, Minecraft has lately been taking up all my time. <3 Minecraft, it just might be my all-time favorite sandbox game.

Pretty much. It's just an amazing game. The sense of accomplishment you get from Minecraft is, in my experience, unmatched.

I've spent hours making a castle, and I plan on spending more time. Really, making a house can take anywhere from ten minutes to ten days. The graphics, I think, are part of why it's so great. The team that created Minecraft wanted to make a game that was fun, not one that looked good, and it shows. It's a novel experience in modern gaming, and does so much more in the way of motivation than any other game that even putting it in the same category as most games seems insulting.

In the end, it is what you make it. Some people, like myself, have made it an impressive creative tool encompassing limitless possibilities. Others have simply dismissed it as a virtual version of Legos with sub-par graphics.
