Yeah, I know what you're talking about now. IIRC that one was fun and had some great vertical to play with.

The only thing I disliked about that map was fighting droidekas in the ice caves. It was near impossible without dieing once or twice.

I generally ran the other way for a while and fought somewhere else. Or got behind them.

The only MMO I play is an MMOFPS, and that's mostly enjoyable cause it's just a free FPS. MMORPGs tend to be pretty terrible, IMO. (I've played quite a few, too, since my friend gets into a new one every once in a while and I always give it a shot.)

We'll have to 1v1. I'm sure to be extremely rusty, so it won't be too unfair.

This. As epic as it looks to be, I hate MMOs, I don't want to go around playing a game and have to keep paying for a subscription to continue enjoying it. (Also another thing that bugs me about CoD, in addition to it being crap I've read a couple places about them wanting to make some sort of subscription service for multiplayer.)

Bespin Platforms from one, since I could turn most any area on it into a killing field. There are quite a few I like to play in two, but my friend and I almost always play Kashyyyk and Kamino. (Since Kamino is something of a spiritual successor to Platforms.)

Bespin Platforms. I remember flying a TIE fighter and blocking off the bridges (not that it really prevents human players from blowing it up). The AI take a while to blow them up. Problem is, the AI builds up so much on their home turf that it sometimes gets difficult to get a CP.

As for MMOs, I was never a huge fan of them. I like RPGs like Final Fantasy and KOTOR I & II, but I'm not looking forward to SWTORO too much. It looks really cool, but I don't have the time or the money for it.

I hated the flying things in that game. Never bothered using them, even to block stuff. I could halt armies just fine with a blaster rifle and an ammo droid.

I read about that. It's called Elite. You pay 60 bucks and any map packs that come out are yours the day they come out. You also get a few other features, which in my opinion, aren't really that great. You get a few more features in the theater mode and you can organize tourneys. You can also compete in tournaments for prizes it says. But if you can still play the multiplayer without it.

Well I guess to each his own. The original Star Wars MMO was great until they updated it and fucked everything over. Star Wars Galaxies? Loved that game. Star Trek Online wasn't as bad as the reviews said it was still wasn't fantastic. Reached endgame under a few weeks and I was playing casually too. The Fallout Copy MMO sucked a lot though. Still I'm not sure I might get Saints Row 3 or Skyrim instead. I haven't played Oblivion in years.

All my games I play currently are just MMOs:

Heroes in the Sky (air combat equivalent of World of Tanks)
NavyField (sea combat version)
Team Fortress 2 (obviously you'll know what this one is)

On the otherside, non-online games:

OpenTTD
Minecraft
Rise of Nations Gold
Starcraft 1 (not SC2- it just made the game micro for all races and it got less realistic.)

Never liked that one much. I always had easy battles there, regardless of side. Platforms was, oddly enough, more challenging and therefore entertaining.
