Yep. Actually spoiling the story would be the important spoilers since everything else you mentioned isn't one.

Did I ever say it was an important spoiler? Nope, just that it was a goddamn spoiler, a concept that you've apparently had an unreasonable amount of trouble grasping. You're wrong. Accept it gracefully and let the damned argument die, before I kindly ask the mods what they'd like to do to us who've spent so much time derailing the thread.

Yep, I was definitely wrong. These quotes where you insist that there wasn't a spoiler despite evidence to the contrary definitely prove that, as well as supporting the fact that you're right.

There was no evidence for there being a spoiler at all. You are wanting it to be a spoiler because you think anything is a spoiler. So how's that brown haired main character? OH FUCK SPOILER. You are the only one who is wrong and you will never be right about this.

So you're claiming that the dictionary definition is wrong, then? I suggest you take that up with Merriam-Webster, since I don't write it.

No offense to any call of duty fanatics, but it seems MW3 is going to be a total repeat of Mw2, and Cod4. Why does anyone buy the sme game 3 times?

Because it remains fun, I'd imagine. Personally, I think most of the games of Shooter Season 2011* seem rather trite and overdone, especially those with large amounts of advertisement. Though, the Resistance series was a pretty good one, and I wish I was able to play through them.

On an unrelated note, does anyone know the titles of some fantasy RPGs that came out shortly after the PS3 was released? I can't recall the name of a rather entertaining one that was reminiscent of Gauntlet.

Found the cave where the legendary deathclaw was. As soon as I saw it I literally just stealthed my way out of there. No way I could kill that thing and the other deathclaws in there.

I've created a 2 part series for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves using gameplay by kevinem82 and edited by kenpotensin (Me). I hope everyone on NS will enjoy it! Feel free to give positive feedback! :)

The "duology" consists of:

Uncharted 2 - Part 1: Drake's Misfortune
Uncharted 2 - Part 2: South by Southeast

So I beat LA Noire. Thought it was a great game story wise. Graphics were pretty good too. I just wish that such a detailed open world didnt have to go to waste. There is very little to it other than random street crimes and fancy cars. Definitely a missed opportunity... :(

The Wikipedia article is the one that said it not the dictionary. You even said you had to "look at the definition liberally".

"Interpret it liberally" does not mean "add random crap". If you read (or reread, if you actually read it the first time, which I doubt) the definition I posted, you'll see that the only part of the definition that needs to be liberally interpreted is the wording. As I explained before, it applies to anything that can possibly spoil a sense of suspense, not only things that definitely spoil it.

Yet you fail to understand that saying there is nothing behind a door is not spoiling or even possibly spoiling something.

How do you not understand that it doesn't matter whether or not it's actually important, so long as it's possibly important?

For example, if you told someone who is reading Dune that conditions on Arrakis weren't so different from those on Selusa Secundus, it would be a spoiler despite the fact that it doesn't actually reveal anything directly. The fact that it becomes a plot point later in the book (and I use the term "plot point" very loosely there, since it's really just something the protagonist notices) is completely irrelevant.

Well, I just beat Saints Row 2 for the second time.

"...And A Better Life" is still satisfying, even if it was on its 5th playthrough.

You're the one who said anything could possibly be a spoiler. Names, hair colors, eye colors, etc would be spoilers by your logic. Revealing something directly is an actual spoiler. Hinting at something is not.
