Honestly, you set yourself up for that. If you didn't want people to post about it then don't mention it on a thread where most people mention something and people discuss it.

Or, people could use their judgement and not tell people things that are going to happen in games.

If you re-read my post I'm not defending anyone, only stating that he set himself up on a forum where people can openly write whatever they want and expecting them not too.

But, honestly, derailing the post here.

Well, Rift and Star Trek Online kinda looks good... but I don't know if I should buy them. Anyway, I can't wait to purchase The Old Republic.

Pretty much so, it is all based around Fantasy MMO, just like every other one. There's nothing new about it, there are two factions and five different races (two kinds of elves one for both). Warriors, rogues, mages, etc. etc. The talent tree is set up different in terms of you can match any kind you want, but like I said it's not ground breaking.

Sounds... trite. I mean, it still has time, right? It's only been out for a few months.

It's a little better then what WoW has become, but it isn't as much fun as I had in Burning Crusade for WoW. Been playing it around ~2 months.

I've been playing WoW for 2 years now. Mostly my Night Elf Priest, but I've transitioned to a Gnome Mage and Tauren Paladin. You?

Been playing too long, since Vanilla. Went through each expansion, and nothing was ever as fun as Burning Crusade was. Lich King was a push over, and Cata had ups but it improved on nothing.

I honestly don't understand your logic. Telling him there was nothing of value behind a door clearly meant to intrigue the player is just as much of a spoiler as telling someone who the murderer in an Agatha Christie novel is.

I would play Rome if I didn't have Medieval 2 installed. I do kinda miss Rome, though. (Unfortunately, I'd have to do a lot of drive-clearing to fit them both on here, and there's no guarantee I could even get Rome to run correctly.)

Mostly, I miss the crazy Roman assassin units, the phalanx spearmen who could stop cavalry charges cold, and the Egyptian Pharaoh's Archers (or something like that).

I enjoyed the diverse factions more, but my laptop has been growing finicky lately so it'd probably take some time to get it running. I never did finish a campaign in Rome, and I'm not actually sure I was ever directly responsible for killing a faction. I played the defensive and isolated nation much more than I do in Medieval, probably because I always ended up having to fight someone overseas and I hated it. So overall Rome is the better game, but Medieval 2 had a better campaign. (And I think cavalry is less balanced in Medieval 2, which is great for me.)
