I didn't want clover to die, but somehow I got involved in a massive, ammo draining firefight at paradise falls. I'm still not sure how, I didn't steal a thing or talk to to many people. I got out of it she didn't.

that one thing about that game you can't heal them and i swear they don't go back to full health after battles like they meant too

I know. I had to re-load my game 6 times in southern DC because dogmeat kept dying. And I already lost one follower, clover.

I don't know how many times I had to reload after Dogmeat would get stuck not being able to follow me and get killed out of my line of sight. It got really annoying.

Not gonna lie, Boone has saved my skin more times than I can count in New Vegas. My current character is very melee orientated and Boone with his sniping skills is great at saving my ass.

I played sniper in that, so companions wouldn't have done a whole lot for me. I think I died like three times total, and all at Hoover Dam.

I think Gannon is my favorite Companion, Mostly because of the Enlcave quest, but his Plasma Defender is beast.

I'm already a level 20 and I mostly have been just screwing around leveling up, but I'm now going after the main campaign.

Can you continue your game once you have beaten the main storyline?
