Why would you waste your "pick one state" on Texas, a state most likely to secede on its own anyway? Well, I am eager to report that a huge amount of people are stupid. The problem is, we have this identity in the USA where we identify ourselves by state as well as national origin. Actually, because I take my time when I post, to better ensure that I clearly explain myself, and because I type slowly, those posts had already been made by the time I actually got to submit.

I am certainly not a creationist, and even the creationist people I know are libertarian, so neither myself nor anyone I know advocates the teaching of any religious or moral values in a public school. As far as homophobic goes, you clearly have never been to the Montrose/Westheimer area of Houston, nor have you heard of the Houston Gay Pride Parade, which is one of the largest in the country. I also have quite a few gay friends, and one of my oldest childhood friends is Transgender. I must admit that not everyone is as open-minded as I am, but Homophobia is a problem everywhere, not just here.

If your issue is with some specific Texan politicians, or a few specific policies, then please go ahead and have issue with them. I can assure you that my friends, my family, and I, do everything we can every election to fix the problems that older generations have perpetuated and we are attempting to educate ignorant and apathetic people to get motivated to change things. All I am saying is that dont let the image that my home state has developed (through only some fault of its own) make you bash and hate on the entire population as a whole.

Drevisczenko, as you are fairly new, let me explain the general method of most general frequenters:

1. Make posts confusing and unclear. Use a lot of big words. When the person whom quotes you makes a mistake, you be an asshole about spotting said mistake and either use or .
2. Don't give the other person time to post.
3. Be sure to allow others to jump in and blitz on the other person.
