It would be cool to have a society that isn't so tied down with money and materialism.

Yeah, such "confirmation" is not worth the paper it's printed on.
there is no fundamental difference between it and other sexual instinct defects.

Wilgrove wrote:So in the thread about discrimination by a BnB against a homosexual couple, the topic of homosexuality being a choice came up. Rather than hijack the thread, I thought I'd create another thread here dealing with the topic. This has been one of those arguments that the social Conservative and right wing love to tout out from time to time. "Arrgghhh It's a choice, homosexuality is a choice!"
Oh really? Ok, so by that logic, Heterosexuality is also a choice. I mean if you can be choose to be gay, then you can choose to be straight. So, my question to those who believe that homosexuality is a choice is this. Why not make out with a person of the same gender? I mean if it's a choice, then you should have no problem with the simple act of making out with someone of your own gender.
As for the rest of us, what are your thoughts on this whole mythos about homosexuality being a choice?

Nowhere it was accepted by its own accord - everywhere its acceptance was mandated by places such as the EU.
Another bit of western decadence we don't want to accept as normal

That's God's territory to decide, not yours. You would do well to remember that, my alleged "brother in Christ."
