It's obvious that liberals are the most common on this site for both genders, and libertarians are in second, far behind but still ahead.

Proud member of Ankh Mauta.

I asked my hippy friends for help. Well! You’d think I asked for a kidney. They kept bringing up the fact that I was using GM seeds. Eventually they all got together and said, “Max… we can’t help you any more. We want to. But you brought these problems on yourself. And the thing is, when you ask for help, you’re actually asking us to use our skills and knowledge to prop up a corporatized product that’s not just practically inferior to the free alternative you ignored, but actually bad for the world. We just can’t do that.”

And that was how I taught them to stop asking me for help with Windows. ~Max Barry

I don't like to choose "liberal" as that implies I follow American politics and the American Idea of "Liberal", which I don't really.

Although I'm probably more of a Socialist than a Liberal I chose the latter anyway. I'm a bit kinky when it comes to politics, I've got my own ideas and they don't really fit anywhere (apart from some obscure country nobody's heard of and I don't speak the language :p ).

Male, Libertarian with Authoritarian Properties.

Economically and socially, society should be free as possible without loss of stability.

I came into this thread expecting Dungeons and Dragons morality scales.

I am severely disappointed. :(

Hmm - this is complicated. I think Authoratarian mercantlism is what ny country needs at this particular moment in time; when there is a self sustaining, educated middle class, and democratic institutions are more enculterated into our mindset I would like us to be a secular, liberal democracy.

So authoritarian in the short term, liberal in the long term.
Taking a break.

Male, I picked libertarian because I lean more towards libertarian than I do conservative. Most of my conservatism is more on a personal, not political level.

Male, I refuse to be labelled as a Libertarian (which according to these definitions fits me better), as such I am a Liberal.

Don't count on it. NS is more liberal than a lot of places.
