Cite an example. Even one. People like MLK Jr. weren't extremist in the vitrolic, hateful sense discussed in the context of the topic. They fought for a cause they believed in, making them agents of change.

Supremacism, I think, is the most dangerous - when an individual or group of individuals believes they have a right to impose their will on another, to be the arbiter of life and death, etc.

The state, then, is by definition a supremacist organization.

Yes, if you look at the state as a megalithic entity. However, if the state itself is an "organization," with various people within its structure performing different roles, then the collective will will likely be muted, hindering the attainment of supremacy - if the state speaks with a million voices which rarely agree, organizational goals would be more vaguely defined, and the achievement of them would be more difficult to accomplish. A small, homogenous, closely-knit group of white supremacists or Muslim supremacists might have the mobility to enforce their will on a town or even pull off a terrorist attack, picking who lives and who dies according to their own political will; a government, while maintaining the "supremacy" of a national constitution as the "supreme law of the land" and retaining the authority to execute or incarcerate lawbreakers, might not be as "supremacist" in nature, since it may have severe limitations on the exercise of power - e.g. term limits, decentralization (federal, state/provincial, local, etc.,) restrictions on information sharing, separation of powers, checks, balances, etc.) Of course, more dictatorial governments would be more "supremacist" than democracies; and even relatively free democracies with respect to their own citizens may act in a more "supremacist" manner outside the area of their own sovereignty (e.g. invasions, international aggression, surprise attacks.)
