I live in a city full of hills, on a steep road that leads onto a less steep but far longer one. Snow can be fun, but I fell over a lot until I got new shoes

What's with all this talk of falling down? Does no one know how to walk in snow? It's not that hard, seriously. Here in Wisconsin, I don't even see little children fall down while walking through the snow. Now, if you hit a patch of ice, then that's different, but snow is easy, very easy.

Compacted, snow that freezes and thaws as temperature dips up and down gets slippy. Then add in fairly steep roads, and boots that have been worn so much that parts of the sole are completely smooth.

I see where you're coming from; we had that sort of snow recently here.

I once had shoes with perfectly smoothed soles, oh the fun having no other shoes was walking over a mile to school in the snow back then.

Britain's snow is unique, in the fact that the next day it's already ice. ;)

I wonder, out of everyone who says that their girlfriend/boyfriend makes them happy, how many of their boyfriend/girlfriends check these forums, play Nationstates, or were standing right next to them while writing it.

[EDIT]
But, things that make me happy are:

Hot steamy sexy sex
Mint chocolate chip ice cream (x2 if its dark chocolate)
Dark coffee
The smell of fresh coffee
Phone sex with my fiance when she is in school
Jersey Shore (makes me laugh pretty hard)
Beautiful girls in very skimpy clothing.
Working (its a love/hate thing)

To Be Continued

Happiness makes me happy. :)
Life's Short. Munch Tacos.

Humans AREN'T monkeys, they're apes.

As an atheist, my view is that all religions are equally as true as the last.
Hehehe :)

YOU HAVE BEEN CONDITIONED SINCE BIRTH
THINKof how many references to "god" you say in your daily life,
"God!", "Damn it!", "Hell!", "Oh lord!", "Bless you", "holy shit!", "Godspeed" etc.
THINK of all the war propaganda you endure every day
NEWS, VIDEO GAMES, MOVIES, MUSIC, COMMERCIALS.
THINK of how avid consumerism is a part of your life.
Brand loyalty, Commercialism, Drug company monopolies, Class dictated by wealth, Bailouts.
CAPITALISM IS NOT THE SAME AS CONSUMERISM.

Relax....
