I live in a city full of hills, on a steep road that leads onto a less steep but far longer one. Snow can be fun, but I fell over a lot until I got new shoes

Compacted, snow that freezes and thaws as temperature dips up and down gets slippy. Then add in fairly steep roads, and boots that have been worn so much that parts of the sole are completely smooth.
