Very nice metaphor, but what does God have to do with morality? What does your god specifically have to do with morality? While I was in my atheist period, I was just as moral as my current Hindu period.

Nothing worth having is easy. This applies to the concept of Heaven, too. If you knew exactly how to reach it, it wouldn't be very hard to do, so there wouldn't be much of a point in it.

God and religion are entertwined. Religion and morality are entertwined. When you let go of God and religion, you let go of morality. This is what happens to people who believe truth is relative.

There's something wrong with it. Why would you "hate" it? You might not care for it, but hating it is odd.

It's not about morals, it's logistics. Gay sex makes no sense.
