I find the fixation on prostitutes amusing, given that nobody ever seems to talk about the men who visit those prostitutes. Apparently, being a poor women who resorts to sex work in order to support oneself is something shameful and filthy, but being a guy who rents out female bodies to masturbate into isn't nearly as big a deal.

Not in the slightest. The Bible specifically supports rape, sexual slavery, domestic abuse, and specifically and clearly states that women are less than men and should never be regarded with the same status and respect as men. The Bible is clearly, unquestionably, and consistently anti-woman.

But don't worry. It's also racist, homophobic, and encourages genocide. So it's not JUST sexist.

Why would the Bible be a mix? It's either true or it isn't, there's no middle ground. If there's a single truth in the Bible, then it's alikely that the rest of it must be true. If there's a single lie, then the whol Bible becomes false. There's no middle ground.

The bible says that a Husband that loves his wife loves himself. This is because a man and his wife "are no longer two, but one flesh" (Mathew 19:6)

In Ephesians 5:28,29 it states "In this way, husbands (man) ought to be loving their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. for no man has ever hated his own flesh; but he feeds and cherishes it, as the Christ also does the congregation."

also note that Colossians 3:19 says, "You husbands, keep on loving your wives and do not be bitterly angry with them."

hey! i personally am of no religion and am a critique for Christians and Catholics and whatnot because I think that they are corrupt, misinterpreting the bible and full of biased 'macho' opinions as well as racism and other things, but those religions dont represent the bible.

I personally think Gay Christans are alright because I recently asked my Deacon what is the Orthodox Church's Position on Homosexuality is that it is conflicted because in the Bible where it says "...a man shall not lay with another man." (Sorry for the Paraphrasing) is actually a reference to adultery. Now the higher heads of the Church may have a dislike to the idea of Homosexuality but they dislike Adultry worse so according to him there is a huge debate in the Church on that idea. However he himself said that if a man finds love with another man insteed of just the "need" then why condem it?
I also have a childhood who is gay and christan too, "I'll let God decide when I meet him", he said and he isn't one of those activists either. So with Gay People I think its fine.
