Hello there. I go by Undle in these parts. I was dragged over here by Divair from the Minecraft forums, and I'm really enjoying the NationStates experience so far.

Let's see, I'm a 37 year old husband of 12 years and father of two young children (8 year old boy, 6 year old girl). I'm a research chemist in the area of large molecule pharmaceuticals. I'm a reformed douchebag atheist, so I'm pretty easy-going about people of faith (most of the time). If I'm starting to get too rabid, just let me know and I'll take a stress pill. I'm an American, but don't hold that against me.

I like to play video games, but mostly independent or old-school games these days. I don't generally enjoy big budget games anymore, and I'm probably becoming a rather insufferable game snob.

I'm currently running my nation according to my political philosophy, so you can see that I'm pretty progressive and not very friendly to business. I used to be a conservative in my younger years, then I moved to libertarianism, and now I feel like a flaming liberal in the context of today's crazy right-wing politics.

I'm David. I'm a sophomore Theatre and Political Science double-major (no, I don't know what I'm doing with my life yet). I am from the hellish neocon-controlled wasteland of North Carolina. I'm very liberal but not actually as leftist as I was when I made this nation. I used to shout on the rooftops that I was communist. Now I recognize democratic socialism as an ideal, but unrealistic, societal goal and just support regular Democratic policies.

Straight but pro-equality, heavily involved in LGBTQ activism. Half-Arabic. Atheist. If you hear my reference being poor, that's by American standards, so I do have a roof over my head and food and all that. I recognize I'm still pretty privileged in that regard and volunteer as much as I can. I'm going through college purely through work, scholarships, and a relatively small amount of loans.
