Funny how some people equivalate the execution of a rapist or a murderer, as morally similar to the raping or killing of an innocent victim.

I bet locking up a kidnapper is morally equivalent to kidnapping as well.

(Note, I do not support the death penalty, even one innocent death is too high a price to pay.)

This little conversation was on his claim that sex drive has nothing to do with rape. I think.

Though dampening should be enough to prevent reccurence, I'm not advocating castration. Just arguing against the idea that castration would have no effect on a rapists mindset.

In all seriousness, my opinion is this:

25 to life. Usually rape is an extremely violent crime with horrific traumatizing results.

Violent child rape, life without parole. With the rest of the prisoners, not solitary confinement.

For non-violent rape, 10-15 years without parole.

For rape followed by murder, death.
