I'd say the American people are starting to realize what a hack Obama is...

Of course you obfuscate all the relevant parts. And so do they. They don't explain from which hole they pulled the 45% number at the top out because it doesn't follow from the rest of the article. If I am to assume it is just a poll of unaffiliated voters and conservatives, Obama is in pretty damn good standing if he is tied with two major Republicans.

When you consider that Obama's Approval index is now down to -7 (30% strongly approve, 37% strongly disapprove) and has been steadily trending downward to more negative numbers, I think it's safe to say his popularity is waning. Why? He's not handling the Nation's problems. Instead, he's promoting his Chicago activist agenda. It's not enough to have a catchy slogan anymore.

I'm sure Obama would be deeply concerned if not for the fact the election showed us Rasmussen polls were markedly biased toward Republicans.

I'm nervous because...

1. I don't know if Obama is ignoring shit

2. That fucking bug I call Sean Hannity is starting to get to me with his lies.

3. Everyone is too impatient.

Putin. For almost a week everytime I looked at the news they would show his insults and laugh at him for saying he wanted to "restart" relations but was insulting PM at the same time.

Good idea. I had a fucking crazy-ass multi-instructor when I was getting my commercial multi rating. We got ringed with thunderstorms coming back from Key West. I told him it wasn't a good idea to go today but... blech, I was a student and trusted his judgment.

We wound up passing under the anvil of a thunderstorm in order to get out of the ring. Man, what a ride. I wouldn't recommend doing that ever.

However, I am a CFII, so I can teach you if you're interested. I'm just out of work right now. :(

Heh, I've had a bad instructor myself. I used to fly out of Wilgrove Air Park 8A6, and one day, we were flying from 8A6 to KJQF (Concord Regional) and we were in the pattern for landing. We were left downwind, and there was another aircraft coming in on the right base. To this day, I have no idea why the Hell this sequence of events started. He jerked the controls of the aircraft away from me, went to left base, and then made a very short final and requested to land at the last fucking minute. We essentially cut the guy off. We landed, went to the ramp, parked. This instructor went up to the tower, and had a yelling match with the Controllers.

I did not fly back with him, I told him that I'll call my parents to come pick me up. I never flew with him after that. That was the closes I've ever come to having a mid air collision, and I do not want to come that close.

I came closer than that once. Another time when I was a student (an instrument student), I was at 5,500ft northeastbound and some guy was at the same altitude flying due west very very slow (I think he was practicing slow flight). In any case, he was blocked in vision by the cockpit bar that split the windshield off from the side window, so I didn't see him (that's what I get for not doing shallow banks now and again to check the area). I saw him right about the time his aircraft was large enough to be in both the front window and the side window, and to give you an idea how close we were, the pilot in the left seat was white, about 25, and wearing Oakley sunglasses or knockoffs.

I wound up diving in order to avoid collision (because apparently he never saw me, and it was way too late to turn out of it), causing the air traffic controller I was on with to panic. I was on an IFR flight plan, and I got absolutely no warning about it. Naturally, in VFR conditions, it was my job to see and avoid traffic (along with my instructor), but damn a heads' up would have been nice.

I've had a few instructors I've been displeased with. I try to be better than them.

Yea, the instructor I got after the one that almost had the Mid-Air with was an awesome guy. He used to fly for US Airways as a regional jet, so he was fun. He helped me much better than the previous guy and it was him that I was finally able to get my PPL. I think I'll go back to him for my IFR training.
