These were created in an attempt to create a concise definition of various concepts, all focus on the implicit beliefs/tenet of each, NOT the implications, results, validity, or effects. In that regard do these pass muster.
1. Science
the systematic study of the nature and behavior of the material and physical universe, based on observation, experiment, and measurement, and the formulation of, theories to explain, and laws to describe, these facts in general terms
2. Communism
An economic and political system characterized by the collective ownership of property and by the centralized organization of labor and goods for the common advantage of all members based on need
3. Socialism
An economic system characterized by the collective ownership of property with a centralized distribution of goods based on individual labor into the system
4. Capitalism
An economic system in which the means of production and distribution are privately owned and development is proportionate to the accumulation and reinvestment of profits gained in a free market.
5. Religion
belief in, worship of, or obedience to a supernatural power or powers considered to be divine or to have control of human destiny
6. Atheism
lack of belief in the existence of God or any other gods
7. Agnosticism
the tenet that neither the existence nor the nature of God/gods is known or knowable.
8. Theism
belief in the existence of a God or gods
9. Deism
The belief in a naturalistic God, gods/creator of the universe and the rejection of the possibility of supernatural.
10. Fascism
The fusion of political, economic and society in to a single totalitarian monolith which implicitly rejects plurality and in which everything is owned and decided by the monolith which is itself led by the military.
