Technically the taxpayers own AIG and other companies now. Though this is not being used to its advantage, but it is a government asset until it pays its loan off but it is not under government control and for good reason.

If the US were under martial law, escape would be impossible to anyplace but Canada, Mexico or maybe Cuba, and even that would be difficult.

1. Massive government involvement in business, both monetarily and politically.
2. Government entitlement programs that aid the lazy, criminal, or uneducated.
3. Lack of full personal freedoms, embodied in policies such as strict gun control.

I agree that America is more corporatist than socialist, and I think its just as bad.

If your seriously concerned, over 18 and (preferrebly do not have children younger than 4), I can give you a payphone number to call to discuss our location. Its in the US, and requires 1200 to be saved for your own supplies. Our group shifts from state to state very often until that time should happen.

I hope you like camping, it is on Federal lands (the safest place to be due because during Martial Law those places will be closed to the public.

Sorry for brief threadjack, that hasn't happened yet. NLRB has only filed a suit...though I suppose that about equates to them saying they can't/aren't supposed to do it. Anyhow...Not important.
