Hey, the Republicans were obstructionists and it worked yesterday.

Actually, from 2008-2010, Obama HAS been bipartisan, it's just that the Republicans, being the spoiled brats that they are, were obstructing him. I honestly don't see how this is going to change for Obama, but hopefully the "My way or the highway" attitude of the Republicans will be amplified in the House and the people will vote them right back out.

Obama was an idiot, instead of forcefully placing in his agenda he tried to compromise, alienating his supporters

He did more damage to his own party than a convention bomb ever could.

Also why is everybody suddenly voting for republicans?

To be fair, Arizona elected McCain, not because he's Republican, but because he's McCain. He's got a bit of a cult going in that state.

He wasn't too bad before the election, either. Something about 2008 flipped his, and everybody elses, crazy switch.

I dunno, I think McCain started going insane after he lost the primaries in 2000.

Well I think what did the Democrats in (beside misinformation and anger), is that they didn't stand by their legislation. What they needed to do was to stand by their legislation and Obama. Obama has actually STOOD by what he has passed in his two years. He stands by the healthcare bill and stimulus. He at least has the balls to do that. Meanwhile the Democrats bailed on him, and I think that cost them the election.

Hey, at least a victory for Obama is likely in 2012.

He has tried to be, but as you said, Republicans have stood their ground (they had to to get campaign finances from the GOP Convention). I just hated how Obama, Reid and Pelosi painted democrats in the same tyrannical light of W. Bush. With one of the latter two out, we hope that your last statements will ring true.

Honestly the stock market has a very high chance of rallying today, mainly because OF the Republican victory in the House. Which will boost consumer confidence. So the economy has a very good chance to improve. Or we can go into a double dip recession, it's hard to tell right now.

I still can't fucking believe that Rick Scott won.

Hey, I'm still reeling from the fact that Russ Feingold lost his seat. While I had my doubts he would have kept it, I thought it would have worked out in his favor at the end of the day. Damn good man. One of the few politicians I actually respected.

He actually cared enough about his constituency, that he would visit every county in Wisconsin for listening sessions every year. His opponent actually criticized him for it in political campaign ads. I couldn't believe that considering I heard him say that it's the only campaign promise he wished he wouldn't have made...but he still kept it. :(

Feingold did that? Wow....I wish my elected officials would do that.... :(

Yea, the Democrats need to find their own strong points instead of trying to steal the GOP's strong points. I'd advise they do that before 2012.

I have actually received a newsletter from awhile back, from the LP saying that they are distancing themselves from the Teabaggers.

Actually I think they can. It's kinda the job for leaderships. Sorry but the Teabaggers are NOT Libertarians, even the Libertarian Party says so. I'd say the Teabaggers are radical Neocons, which is just scary.
