In all honesty, I don't know many Republicans who have a good image outside of their district/state. I would like it if Frelinghuyson became speaker of the house, but politics makes it impossible since he broke the GOP Code and actually voted for the healthcare bill.

Frelinghuysen? How the hell old is he? I mean, didn't he run with Henry Clay in '44 (1844, that is)? "Hey, hey, the country's risin' for Henry Clay and Frelinghuysen!" I was living in Europe at the time but we heard about that campaign slogan.

I think McCain took a lot of bad advice during the election about what would attract voters. What politicians say when they're campaigning has very little connection to what they actually believe, and I don't think McCain really believed more than about 40% of the bullshit that came out of his mouth during the 2008 campaign. He's not really crazy, just fake.

The only person I saw saying the wrong thing at the wrong time is his vice presidential candidate.

After putting in well over 200 hours of volunteer hours participating in the very bottom grassroots of this election, I am happy and justifiably proud to have done my civic and moral duty. The chips will fall where they may, but let none dare say otherwise no matter the result.

Blood tests? (though it stays in your system for weeks)

Plus if you just COMPLETELY outlaw it yo can get those who are high. You can tell when a person's high without blood tests. Hell, maybe all this would cause a mass boost in inventions trying to get a fast message.

Fate of the California Props:

Prop 19: Legalization of the recreational use of marijuana. Would have banned employers, including the military, from firing or disciplining employees who used marijuana. Defeated.
Prop 20: Congressional districts drawn by a non partisan commission: approved
Prop 21: free entry into all state parks if you pay a new $18 vehicle fee each year. approved. (This is a good deal. For $18 a year you get access to all of the state's parks for the entire year instead of paying $50 each day you go.)
Prop 22: Ban the state from taking from schools and cities to pay for the legislature's rubber checks. approved.
Prop 23: Suspend California's Climate Change law until the economy improves. Defeated
Prop 24: Repeal tax breaks for small business owners who employ minorities: Defeated
Prop 25: Require only 51% to pass a state budget: approved
Prop 26: requires 2/3 voter approval for all local taxes and fees: approved
Prop 27: eliminate the non partisan redistricting commission: defeated

According to these votes, you can see how liberal and communistic the people of California are and just what type of government it is that Californians want to force on the rest of America.

Sure. Some places the cops test drivers at random using a saliva test.
Just like breath tests for alcohol, if you fail the roadside test you can opt for a blood test (always do that, btw, you might sober up or straighten up in the meantime).

It's not medicinal, it's recreational. And look again at the consequence, they'd get A LOT of funding stripped. This matter needs to be solved in D.C., else it will never change.

You obviously haven't checked the ballot at all. Both Arizona and South Dakota voted against legalizing medical marijuana. Also California wouldn't lose any funding from legalizing it. Especially considering how much they could make if they taxed it.

Exactly. So we'd have a system incapable of tracking marijuana abuse. Ergo, increased level of DUIs, ergo, I wouldn't feel all that safe on the roads anymore.

While driving, you could smell marijuana from inside the car if you've used it inside. And we already have those practices now. (In New Jersey, you HAVE to submit to a breathalyzer and police can hold you until drug dogs are called or you go with them to get tested).

Yeah but that is a lot of work and puts doctors at risk of losing their practice. FFS, why not just set heavy fines for weed used outside the house or a hooka-barish business and leave people be?
