You're forgetting the one thing the Vice-President does, break ties in the Senate. a 50-50 deadlock in the Senate was never an option.

Also, the two independents prevent a 50-50 deadlock. Once the Dems got 49, the deadlock chance was over.

I'm so happy my part now has the House.

I'm also happy that we don't have the Senate. Keep blaming failures on the Democrats, and the GOP is bound to win eventually.

Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy. "Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, state ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these. There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them. They differ in the type of social ownership they advocate, the degree to which they rely on markets or planning, how management is to be organised within productive institutions, and the role of the state in constructing socialism.

California Proposition 19 the measure to legalize personal possession of and recreational use of marijuana has been defeated at the polls. The people of California choosing to continue to uphold federal and international laws against marijuana rather than jeopardize the federal funds their police departments and public schools recieve.

Glad Pelosi is out. Reid should have lost and let the Dems have a better Senate leader. At the very least all of Obama's "bipartisan" promises will have to come true if ANYTHING needs to get down w/o Obama's executive orders.

Try living here. My God you would think this was some kind of Crusade to save us from Marxism. Though I did enjoy how a certain Southern Utah Radio Station was openly mocking a Republican Campaign Manager who came on their show so they could roast her for putting their signs in peoples yards without permission. Thank God he lost to Matheson that is just icing on the cake. Unfortunately Tea Party psychopath Mike Lee won. Oh well I never expected much from Utah anyways they think Jesus is a Republican.

How so? If the Democrats vote down every Republican measure, then it's their fault.

And who said production of laws was good? I always like less government.
