The Republicans have just accomplished another in a long line of firsts for the nation:
They have elected the nation's first Latina governor.

I guess that means that all Latinos who vote Democratic are traitors to their race. j/k. lol

Early capitalists received a developed in a different fashion compared to the industries which essentially aided in governing under the Fascist regimes of Europe. Mussolini himself was an uber-capitalist, and his railings against Fascism do not rebute his own policies.

Corporatism = Fascism, Fascism = Corporatism yet you don't understand that Fascist Corporatism doesn't mean what you say it does.

I misconstrued your wording, due to the deletion of commas. I have seen no proof to the contrary except on paper. In actual usage, Corporate Fascism results in the domination of government policy by a dictator who works in cooperation with a series of corporations, which pretend to represent union interests. In theory, you may well be correct, but in practice businesses maintain control. I like my flag.

"Never be deceived that the rich will permit you to vote away their wealth." - Lucy Parsons
Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy. "Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, state ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these. There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them. They differ in the type of social ownership they advocate, the degree to which they rely on markets or planning, how management is to be organised within productive institutions, and the role of the state in constructing socialism.

Well to be fair, we do deserve the government that we get. If the people would rather believe lies and believe that corporations have our best interest in mind, then let them have it. It's kinda like letting your child stick a fork in the electrical socket. You know he's going to get hurt, but you let him do it anyways because it'll teach him a valuable life lesson.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get my aircraft ready for a long flight into Canada.

Maybe you're joking, but isn't that like... the ultimate cop-out? People shouldn't be allowed to vote if they don't agree with you? I mean seriously, this is the kind of fallacy we should dismiss in grade school.

I'd have to agree with Melkor here. I mean just because people don't vote the way you want them to doesn't mean you should strip them of their right to vote.
