Unlike later moves.

Very much this.

I saved a few threads, but there was no way I could save all the threads I'd have wanted to because I never took the time.

A very large part of my nation's history went with those forums.

It looked like they'd forgotten about NS, until there was some kerfuffle late last year which alerted them that they'd not closed down the NS forums on Jolt.

I wish I'd saved one of the threads I had on there, though.

Oh, well.

I was only in it to set up a demihuman cannon fodder army. And the lulz.
And that's about the time I started hating Ryou. I remember almost Tsar Bombing him. And when my puppet nation gave the reward for assassinating Hataria's leadership
Ah good times good times.
I personally remember Torontia and Chitzeland. Two wars that I meddled in greatly. Both wars went on for around 2 years.
And when I took on the World Anti Communist Union and won.

I still have some accounts, Jolt will get a little surprise one day. I always wanted to go all out.

By the time we'd determined there was no way we could salvage anything useful out of the file, what little communication we had with Jolt had effectively dried up. :(

Which is one of those absolutely petty things that make them shit.

"look forward to"?

They've been read only for a good long time - since both those and the NS forums were closed and archived after HK's little tantrum.

Yeah, I was at the forefront of that little shitstorm.

Irritating, but I've got only my pwn laziness to be annoyed at on the saving-of-threads front.
