Race is bullshit. Race does not exist. Race is a social construct to describe various physical features. Racial identity is not required to live a healthy productive life. Even if you are of mixed race it is perfectly possible for you to feel proud of all of your descendants. I'm proud of my identify with my Irish ancestors, German ancestors, English ancestors, Aboriginal ancestors and the countless other nationalities which form a part of me.

I didn't just say that people "tend to identify with it", I said that race is the single most important and concrete aspect of a person's identity. You can change your faith, your ideals, and your place of residence, but you are born with your race and stuck with it until the day you die.
