I dislike being called a rapist ;)

Good thing no one is calling you one, then.

You're being offended by your own interpretation.

Considering preventing men from having lustful thoughts is in fact the actual reason for the burqa, that interpretation is quite accurate ;)
Unless you wish to share what the TRUE reason for it is and show me to be silly :) ?

It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

The whole point of religion is that it is open to interpretation. You cannot say, "This is the TRUE reason and everyone else is wrong!" You're using a real-life straw man argument.

Perhaps someone wants to wear a burqa because they don't want to be judged by their appearance. Perhaps they want to wear a burqa to show their disdain for personal vanity. Perhaps they want to wear a burqa to show their devotion to God. Perhaps they want to wear a burqa because they want to appear modestly in public.

All valid interpretations - none more valid than any other.

His property. Let him do whatever the fuck he wants with it.

It's not so much "right to speech" as "right to property." It's his. Let him do with it as he pleases.

Well several muslim intrest groups have made efforts to have a law passed that would forbid people to sing christian christmas carols in public and to get rid of many christian references in schools. So the muslims demand that the government stamp out other religions but when there turn comes around it's descrimination, ban the Burqa.

Food for thought-You are not allowed to walk into many places, such as a night club, bank or petrol station, wearing a motorcycle helmet because it obscures your face, why should it be any different for Burqas

So he did what any person would do when confronted with a bear in the middle of an international meeting; he tried to shoot him.

Lucky for all of us, Karakov is a lousy shot.

It shouldn't, but a blanket ban on them is a different beast entirely

I agree why not just tell muslim women that they can only where those burqas that look more like scarves and leave the face easily visible, rather then the full face covering black ones.

More food for thought-If a muslim terrorist group were to carry out a very devastating attack women may have to stop wearing burqas for safety against a public backlash.
