The whole thing reminds me of when the KKK had several of it's members in political power.

They aren't. They're a shit party, but they aren't. Don't go and pull this bullshit sensationalism, though, because it's as bad as they are.

Ok, so I am willing to concede that they are not an organized terrorist group. However they have resorted to terrorist tactics.

The first links dont even show how the Tea Party was involved. As for the racial slurs, that was never proven with video. Just because they say it happened dosnt mean it did.

Like what? Individual members of their political party have gone way out of line and threatened the life of assemblymen. Since when has this not happened?

Because their organization does not condone nor call for violence would be my guess. I don't know the legal definition of terrorist or terrorist organization however saying Tea Parties=Terrorist would be about as broad as saying Muslims=Terrorist.
