A guy I know told me he met some big Danish guys at a park in New York who said they came to New York to beat up Nazis. They would sit in the park and wait for some guy with a swastika tattoo or something else to indicate they are a Nazi to come along, strike up a conversation, lure the Nazi out of the park, and beat the shit out of him.

I have never met these guys myself, but this is the story I was told. So what does NSG think of this? Is it a public service? Unjustified violence? Is it OK to beat people up for believing in an evil ideology, even when you don't know if they ever hurt anyone? What say you?

No, obviously not. Although, what if the person in question is reformed, or had to get the tattoo in prison to survive? These guys, if they exist (and I doubt they do), are worse scum than anyone whose only crime is wearing the swastika.

Oddly it happens more often than one thinks; I once was mistaken for as a hammerskin (I was wearing all black with a pink floyd hammer patch I sewed on) and at least it was only verbal violence...was able to walk away, despite he was edging me on.

The guy who told me about them does have a rather unique view of the world, and even though he says he met them, he didn't see them actually beat anyone up. The guys in the park may have been joking when they said they were there to beat up Nazis. On the other hand, there are some weird people out there. You never know what someone's going to do for shits and giggles.
