Yes, it's been done many times before, but I don't give a fuck.

To watch - rugby
To play - tennis (tho, I'm piss poor and better at pretty much every other sport I play)

Watch: futbol, American football, basketball. I watch NFL, NBA, WNBA, World Cup and other international futbol (men and women's), MSL, WPS. Some college football and basketball.

Play: None for years.

Watch: Baseball, American football, soccer (some), golf (nothing as soothing as watching a good tournament, green grass, trees, hushed announcers ... and some asshole yelling "GET IN THE HOLE!" as the leader swings)

Favorite to watch: basketball. Basketball is one of the few sports where I can figure out what's going on just by looking at what the players do. Soccer/football can also be fun, if both the teams involved are very good professionals (which you don't see much in the US).

To watch it'd have to be hockey. But skiing and snowboarding comes in a close second, films like My Own Two Feet, That's It, That's All and The Tangerine Dream. Can't wait for Jeremy Jone's Deeper next year.

To participate in, without a doubt it is shredding. Strapping myself onto my board and hucking off cliffs, blasting through waist deep pow in the trees, ahh the feeling, nothing else on Earth is quite like it. :)

EDIT: Also, golf is dumb.

Watch: College football. And women's beach volleyball, of course.

Play: Golf, swimming, volleyball, soccer, bowling. Yes, typical white people sports.
