Popular designs for a single article of clothing isn't fashion.

Fashion is this capitalist product whereby you have "Designers" making subtle alterations to clothing that, in its most basic form, never changes in most casual settings. Besides those fine "silk accents" to that dress or the "cashmere" feeling of that $460 sweater, the "Designers" then find it necessary to splash their logo or logotype--designed by a Graphic Design in most cases, ironically--which then marks their product as being theirs and tells the rest of the world that the person wearing said "fashion" is cultured, sensible, in stylish. In reality, all it really says is that some of us have money and a penchant for the visual. And others don't.

So no, I don't really think many people follow fashion.

I was gonna murder the little bugger until I realized instantly that his youth didn't justify my anger. That's when I said that regardless of my perceived incapability as a mother, I am capable, 'cuz I do know better. "

Seersucker Thursday in the Senate.

Seersucker is a thin, all-cotton fabric, commonly striped or checkered, used to make clothing for spring and summer wear. The word came into English from Hindi, which originates from the Persian words "shir o shakar," meaning "milk and sugar", probably from the resemblance of its smooth and rough stripes to the smooth surface of milk and bumpy texture of sugar. Seersucker is woven in such a way that some threads bunch together, giving the fabric a wrinkled appearance in places. This feature causes the fabric to be mostly held away from the skin when worn, facilitating improved heat dissipation and air circulation. It also means that ironing is not necessary.

Was popular in the British colonies and the American south because of this feature.

Closeup of the fabric in varying colors.

No, my clothes are pretty much only T-shirts, hoodies, jeans and track pants. I have a trilby as a hat and trainers as shoes.

If fratboys do, then some gays do. :eyebrow:

There is a large difference between your stereotypical movie "Fratboy" and a southern gentleman. The latter are the only ones that get bids to the prestigious chapters in the south while the garbage that gives us a bad reputation just festers in bottom tier houses in the north. Finding a homosexual in any respectable house in the south is pretty much impossible given the prevalence of WASPs.

I agree with that point, just wanted to show how it isn't just something limited to the Greek community (although most of those senators were greek). The fabric swatches picture was for the closeup of the texture, anyone wearing some of those colors has no taste whatsoever. Don't think I have even seen garments in most of those colors.

Lord knows a WASP can't be a homosexual or vice versa. :palm:

And men that are into being Greek and prefer the company of other men can't be southern gentlemen ... oh, snap.

EDIT: I have no doubt most southern frats are homophobic in the extreme. Doesn't mean you have no gays among you.
