I don’t think anyone can accuse me of being a fan of President Obama, but whether you like it or not he is the president of the United States of America. I didn’t vote for the man, but the majority of US voters did so we’re just going to have to live with that. The way I see it, if any dipstick sitting in a coffee shop (or on an online forum) can voice an opinion about the construction of a mosque near ground zero, then why not the President?

In this case I happen to agree with the President. I wouldn’t want people to throw a hissy fit over the construction of a Catholic church because some extremist nut job’s somewhere bombed a building and killed thousands of people in the name of my faith.

I’m sorry but I don’t blame Islam as a whole for 9/11. If we wanted to do that then there’s a whole world of events that we could hold just about any other faith responsible for throughout history. If they want to build a mosque, let them build a mosque.
