In this way it is much like the gay marriage debate, nobody in the world has a real, logical reason to oppose that either. you know, it strikes me that there is a bit of a disanalogy here, in so far as we know that the entire leadership of the catholic church engaged in a centuries-long conspiracy to help predator priests touch kids/nuns/parishioners and get away with it. basically, there is much more reason to prevent catholic churches from building within a quarter mile of a playground than there is to oppose the muslim community center.
