What's the Hardest Decision you had to make?

Postby Happy Shining Democracy » Wed Jul 08, 2009 4:51 am

I had to choose whether I was going to drop out of college or keep going and stay in debt.

Probably changing uni degrees, whilst it was not going to be as hard as many decisions, it was certainly a very influential one that will stick with me through the rest of my life probably moreson than any decisions I have made since.

They have a solution for that, join the military.

I signed you up already.

Leaving my family in Australia to return to the US to find work. I suspected I wouldn't see them again, and so far I seem to be right.

College 1 or College 2.

I picked college 2. I ended up transferring.

To a better school than either College 1 or 2.

So things worked out!
" I stopped being Pro-choice the day my baby turned 2. At the party, he turned to me, opened his mouth, and unleashed a stream of mucus and snot that I didn't know a baby was capable of. I was gonna murder the little bugger until I realized instantly that his youth didn't justify my anger. That's when I said that regardless of my perceived incapability as a mother, I am capable, 'cuz I do know better. "

It was tough, but I decided sharing was the best option.

And by sharing...well I'll leave that up to your imaginations.

The one on the right looks a little risky.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.
The Parkus Empire: Being serious on NSG is like wearing a suit to a nude beach.
New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

Did you ever read a book called "I hope they serve beer in hell."?

The author claims all his personal stories are true.

Anyway, the final story is very similar except: He has to choose if he wants to sleep with his girlfriend who is pregnant and going to abort his child, or, his other friend who has cervical cancer.

Or maybe the friend with cervical cancer was going to abort?

It was a little crazy.

You couldn't find work in Australia?

In three years I worked a non-consecutive six months. I submitted my resume an average of eleven times per week. I lost count of the number of interviews I attended, only to be told "we would have hired you, except for this other person...."

Hell, I was turned down by McDonalds because I'm too old. My now ex-wife was nagging me about going back to the States to find work, so I finally did. So now I'm sending money back to Australia, and I get divorce papers in return. Now I just have to find a lawyer willing to talk to me about Australian law.

But I'm not bitter....

The hardest decision so far was weather to purchase one of the commercial typefaces, because of the price.

All I can say is "ouch", Tre. :?

The hardest decision I had to make was, in the end, a no brainer, but it was hard at the very moment of making it. It was breaking up with my ex-fiancé of 3 years. There was a lot, monetarily wise, involved. But it was either carry the load on my own or remain in an abusive relationship that had no good ending.

I live in the comfortable illusion that I could get a job any old time I wanted. The only reason I'm living on credit is 'cos I'm investing my time instead. Or something. My accountant handles all that. Apparently, my soul has doubled in value, despite the economic hard times.

I hear your mean woman blues. I could so easily pass negative judgement on Aussie chicks, for being all mean and gold-digging. And liking rugby more than I do.

But I don't want to disrespect my stalkers. They're mostly female, mostly adult, and all Hot!

Excuse me, there's one climbing over the back fence just now. gtg!
