Yeah, huh?
Your so brainwashed by the two party system, and our country is so fucking polarized, that you assume just because I don't want a man to go blind, that I somehow am a supporter of Rush Limbaugh. Really pathetic. Thats why this country is going to shit.
My point sailed right past you, didn't it? Rush disagreed with Michael J. Fox's position on stem-cell research, so he went after Fox personally, saying he was acting or had stopped his meds so he'd be more sympathetic. My point was, it's the same as making a joke about Beck.
Whats your point? Sounds to me like your point is exactly what I thought it was, which is that your assuming I am ok with Rush Limbaugh doing the same shit your doing.
People make jokes. All the time. About everything. When I was a kid we just to sing songs about Michael Jackson blowing up.
Pepsi cola blew him up
now he's drinking 7-up
It wasn't because we disagreed with him. It was because it happened and when you're a part of pop culture, you get what you get. Glenn Beck has NEVER done anything to garner sympathy. He's a horrible man who makes his living committing fraud on the American public. And it's the worst kind of fraud because it can actually affect the outcome of elections.
Being someone with that much power doesn't for a moment cause him to treat it with the level of responsibility such a position should garner. The man has the ability to change the outcome of elections and instead of doing the right thing, he does whatever makes him the most money. He's attack Christianity, civil rights and the very idea of caring for the downtrodden. At what point did he earn any sympathy whatsoever?
I'll admit, I also didn't feel any sympathy for Jeffrey Dahmer and his overall negative effect on America was much, much less.
So your saying since you disagree with his political position, you don't care hes going blind. Gotchya.
And yes, Jeffrey Dahmer is totally the same as Glenn Beck. After all, having a classically liberal political position is as bad as killing people.
Again, no.
Glenn Beck isn't just disagreeing. He's lying. He's lying for money. He's intentionally praying on the ignorance of those who watch him to make money and he doesn't care what the effect is. His opinion is for sale. We have no idea what his opinion really is. Because he'll say anything if you pay him to.
Jeffrey Dalmer only hurt a few people. Glenn Beck's influence is far more extensive. If he caused even one good part of a bill to tank, the effect he's had on our society is exponentially worse.
