I have to wonder... if it's God's will when things like New Orleans happens or when people who are liberal, or black, or brown, or poor get sick or whatever, then isn't it also God's will when Beck does. Clearly, he has angered God and should pray till it goes away.

To be completely honest, I don't feel any empathy for a man who has made a career out of lying to people for money. He's a con artist. I don't consider this a punishment for his scams, but there are too many good people in the world worth my concern and, frankly, my ability to give a shit just doesn't extend to douchebags.

It wasn't because we disagreed with him. It was because it happened and when you're a part of pop culture, you get what you get. Glenn Beck has NEVER done anything to garner sympathy. He's a horrible man who makes his living committing fraud on the American public. And it's the worst kind of fraud because it can actually affect the outcome of elections.

Being someone with that much power doesn't for a moment cause him to treat it with the level of responsibility such a position should garner. The man has the ability to change the outcome of elections and instead of doing the right thing, he does whatever makes him the most money. He's attack Christianity, civil rights and the very idea of caring for the downtrodden. At what point did he earn any sympathy whatsoever?

I'll admit, I also didn't feel any sympathy for Jeffrey Dahmer and his overall negative effect on America was much, much less.

It's not his opinions that are the problem. It's that he's a lying fraud who is willing to do bad things in order to make money. So, yes, that makes me less sympathetic. His actions are willfully destructive. He knows they're destructive. And he does them for money.

This isn't about whether or not he disagrees with us. Lots of genuine conservatives exist and deserve sympathy. He's a pretend conservative who was a pretend liberal when he was on a liberal station. He's a whore.
