I agree. Making fun of the misfortune of someone who has a different point of view is utterly wrong.

Blindness is probably the worst thing that could happen to a person in modern society. I hope Beck doesn't go blind, but for some reason, I doubt he will.

Anyone remember that town a couple years back that raised the money to help that little girl get an eye transplant? I know if I was Glenn, I would probably do that if I went blind. Although, if I was Glenn Beck, he would be on MSNBC ranting about how evil O'Rielly and Hannity are.

I sure hope not, can't see why he would either, he is going to a private optometrist after all he might come back more fevered.

Not a big fan, but I wish him the best. No one should have to be blind.

He's was radio before he was TV (IIRC), so, yeah. Radio again. It won't be hard for Beck. He's got millions, and a rabid fan base. He'll be one hell of a lot better off than anyone he might deride as a drain on state resources.

My point sailed right past you, didn't it? Rush disagreed with Michael J. Fox's position on stem-cell research, so he went after Fox personally, saying he was acting or had stopped his meds so he'd be more sympathetic. My point was, it's the same as making a joke about Beck.

Did anyone see the video of him putting vaseline or something like that in his eyes before a photo shoot, so he could look "emotional"? When someone is willing to go that low for publicity, then they probably deserve to go blind.

(Ps, I know that he was diagnosed with something genetic that would cause the blindness, if it did happen. I am just saying that he deserves said disease if he is willing to inflict pain upon himself for attention and money)
