Makes no sense though until we colonize at least 5% of Earth.Maybe we can colonize mars and maybe a couple of moons orbiting Sauturn or Jupiter,

Uhm. The Voyager probe is about to leave the solar system. It does not have FTL though.

Still requires you to play with the laws of physics.
