One thing I am known for, her and IRL, is my great modesty concerning my incredible good looks.

root crop farming.
digging to the phylosophistical roots of a thought or concept.
often awkwardly and padantically phraised.
(while praising succinctness to which i only dream of aspiring).
freequently giving gramar and spelling not-sees gray hare.
sometimes intentionally.
and generally running off at the keybord,
in ways and on issues i sometimes feel perhapse a little too passionate about,
from a perspective i like to think of as a little more global or even universal,
then the locally dominant mainstream.
premeditatedly avoiding, wherever possible the preconceptions of the corporate media,
which i see primarily as the propiganda organ of corporate economic intrests,
which run on auto-symbolic-value seek, and ignore as much as they can possibly get away with,
any and all feedback about how doing so is affecting even their own future environment,
let alone that of real people places and things.

refusing to buy into either capitolism OR marxism.
nor into the myth that everything fits into one or the other of those two catigories
and the even bigger bald faced lie that it always has.

a lover of little people sized trains, non-combustion based sources of energy
and means of propelling transportation.

a certain consistancey with all of the above in just about everything i say,
when i'm not completely missunderstanding the context in which i'm saying it,
which, having to occupy a human life form to be legally on this planet earth,
i'm as cappable of erring about as anyone.

believing that nothing is limited to what we think we know
and at the same time that what we don't know does not in any way need,
nor is all that likely to, resemble whatever the greatest number of people
pretend to know about it.

possibly the bulweer-litton, or mr magoo of political and cosmological phylosophy?
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.

This is bad. Like in the movie, 'Poltergeist', hauntings in a brand new place are a sign of bigger problems. Perhaps the new forum was build on an indian burial ground.

First, pick a rule. I will be the exception to it.

A longer explanation;

Contradictions are good for me. I love to read and am an omnivorous reader. I'm very good at mathematics and science and am an avid fan of science fiction. This trend requires contradiction which is why I love rugby and wrestling. I spend a considerable amount of my time engaged in physical activity. I specialize in physical comedy and make a comfortable living doing so.

So now I am a physically self-destructive wacko clown like something you'd see on an episode of Jackass. I delight in being disruptive and an attention whore. This trend also requires contradiction which is why I love my open mind. I spend a considerable amount of my time here on NSG examining people's positions on everything from politics to science, examining my own positions, considering options and reformulating my opinions based on these examinations. I specialize in examining an old issue from a new direction.

I'm an athletic geek. I'm an intelligent wacko. I'm a responsible father with a pie catapult in my back yard. I'm a liberal that values the Second Amendment. I'm a conservative that believes liberty and poverty are mutually exclusive conditions. I'm a Christian with a firm grounding in science. Sometimes I run through a Wal-mart with a jockstrap on my head because I'm trying to be helpful.

I am the exception that proves the rule. 8)

oh thanks. I don't have many rules i hold other people by, or if i do have them i'm just not aware of them.
I think there are many people who are exceptions to many rules. what is it that's commonly said? diversity is the spice of life?
I find your posts insightfull and humorous, as are a great many other posters posts.

I'm known for being here some times and not being here at other times. I'm known for the size of my brick.
"My loathings are simple: stupidity, oppression, crime, cruelty, soft music."
- Vladimir Nabokov US (1899 - 1977)
Also, me.
“Man has such a predilection for systems and abstract deductions that he is ready to distort the truth intentionally, he is ready to deny the evidence of his senses only to justify his logic”

"All Clock Faces Are Wrong." - Gene Ray, Prophet(?) http://www.timecube.com
A simplified maxim on the subject states "An atheist would say, 'I don't believe God exists'; an agnostic would say, 'I don't know whether or not God exists'; and an ignostic would say, 'I don't know what you mean when you say, "God exists" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignosticism

I have no idea. If I were to guess what I would most likely be known for, I'd say lurking to make the odd snide comment with varying degrees of success.
