"North of" doesn't mean "in", GnI.

Naughtiness.

Thankfully however I have nothing to do with the Midlands *shudder*

There is no hope for me.
On the other hand, at least I have nothing to do with Birmingham (even if it's just close proximity)

So - a totally different Birmingham to the one I know...

No. At least Pakistan has a culture that vaguely resembles the rest of humanity. Belgium is just creepy and empty. It's like walking into 28 Days Later. The few people you do come across just shout incoherently then throw up blood in your face.

Good food and beer though!

That's cheating! Leeds is firmly in the North! However I could probably find a way of counting Birmingham as part of the Black Country, then having the Black Country discounted as part of the Midlands on the grounds of the inhabitants not speaking English or actually being human.

Again, I could get Leeds out on that criteria! And you'd end up having to get rid of Norfolk and Lincolnshire too and then what are you left with? Nothing but the M1 linking up North and South

Some would argue that's a small price to pay for getting rid of Lincolnshire...

You what? Leeds isn't in the Black Country. And, come to think of it, Norfolk isn't in the Midlands, it's East Anglia.
