I do agree with that. I was simply pointing out the reason why there was an arguement about the word. Personally I've seen very few instances of the word midget being used in derogatory context. if fact as this thread has show 'dwarf' is much more open to jokes.

Poor midgets being belittled. Why must people outside the norm always get the short end of the stick? This problem has been blown all out of proportion, though. Even if it is a problem, it's a really small problem.

I'm opposed to the very existence of the FCC and other parents television groups. It is nothing short of censorship.

If a show is saying words that you don't like, don't watch that show. As long as the terms being used aren't used as a way to incite hatred and violence against a specific group then I have no problems with it. If it's a joke, then people need to learn to lighten up.
