maybe i'll add another one later from a different genre, mabe neo-classical or melodic, but I really have a place in my heart for that song.
I can't help it. My head starts bobbing towards a head banging session every time I hear this kind of music, but I'm 35. My instinct says yes, my neck says no.

There's a pattern here.
Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

Unless, of course, you're someone who doesn't like those bands, in which case they are not necessarily better than today's music...

I am now looking for the high-profile assassinations of Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and other newbie musical acts (though not Miranda Cosgrove; she's not the best singer, but she's too hot to die.)
NSG? Thoughts?

Not all of them were equally influential. And not all of them influenced good bands.

40's and 50's eh ?
May I have a list of jazz groups from those years.
Bob Crosby, Max Kaminsky, Eddie Condon, Wild Bill Davidson, Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Dave Brubeck, Bill Evans, Gil Evans, Stan Getz, Charlie Parker, Bud Powell, Thelonius Monk, Dizzy Gillespie, Clifford Brown, Max Roach, Horace Silver, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Charles Mingus...
Yes.
And Nat "King" Cole's trio was strong as well.

I like 90's music best, a few post-2000 bands are okay too, like you said the Killers and Coldplay are pretty much it. Everything else afterwards can get killed.
