Facebook, Myspace and Twitter

I generally get bored and forget/stop caring about any social network I sign up to, so I don't bother any more.

Well, I must say that after 6 months of pressure I surrendered to my fiancee's orders and made an account on Facebook.
A total waste of time if you ask me (which you're doing, right?). Also, I prefer the telephone to keep in touch. Much more personal, and
you can have a real, longish conversation instead of just placing some bits and waiting for hours for an answer.

As for MySpace and Twitter, never considered them.

I basically treat Facebook as a freewheeling conversation. People wander into and out of the room, stuff gets mentioned, discussions might spring up about it, run for a while, eventually fade out again. Essentially an asynchronous version of IRC, with the condition that I know (at least somewhat) most of the people I talk to.

Not a 'keeping in touch' tool though, in the same way -- phone, IM, or personal contact is much preferred for that.
