Fortnuately, world leaders don't tend to be drawn from the pool that Nationstates.net offers up, and the DPRK is a tad more complex than anyone here seems to be giving it credit for.

Seriously, you -all of 'you'- and your country -or your perception of it- are not actually the centre of everyone else's world. Not everything that the North Korean state does is actually aimed at what may superficially appear to be its target.

Also, somebody thinks that the DPRK having nuclear weapons makes nuking them a more appealing option? Really? Because if Japan had a submarine with an A-bomb on board sneaking into San Francisco bay, Hiroshima would still have been a pretty good idea!

And yeah, lets just smack down their missiles with an ABM shield, because obviously the facts that they have both nuclear explosives and ballistic missiles is proof that they intend to deploy the former by means of the latter, and that they can not conceive of an alternative.

Also, if I were a dictator, I'd have a more literal take on sabre rattling, with a nod to the Swords of Qādisīyah, and a big ol' clockwork mechanism.

Then I'd nuke private citizens who mocked my glorious socialist paradise on the internet.

Good luck tracking some of us down, especially if you use IP addresses. For example, mine says I'm in Little Rock, Arkansas. I'm nowhere near Little Rock, Arkansas.

Tough break for Arkansas, then :P

(Also I'm surrrre my intelligence agencies, after sifting through a cache of your other posts, would garner at least enough information to make a poorly-educated guess at which way to point the nuclear retaliation monkeys, which is good enough for this would-be crackpot dictator!)

You live in or around Mountain Home, AR.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.

New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

Once again, we see why UN Resolutions are worthless.

I'm surprise China isn't tightening the leash on Kim.

Damn, was a guess, but you DID know where it is. You could be almost anywhere in Arkansas, parts of Mississippi, Louisiana...

Wrong region of the country. I have no idea where that other town is.

Using a proxy or just something weird in the routing tables?

From what little I've heard, I gather that China is being less supportive of Pyongyang in recent weeks. Objections -even blocks- to international moves against the government have been notably absent this time around.

On the other hand, of course, Kim is his own man, the DPRK its own country, and China doesn't have either on a leash to begin with. This isn't the 1950s, and there aren't tens of thousands of Chinese troops on the peninsula.

Besides, China is surely doing something that we aren't seeing, and, as per my original point in my opening why is everyone so superficial and gullible? post, it doesn't have to be about nuclear and strategic-military power-plays in the right-now when, in all likelihood, the DPRK could be on the brink of -or in the midst of- a succession crisis and/or power-struggle, which may or may not be one factor influencing the state's recent actions, or perhaps even the sole factor.
