I dont view her as a threat.

I view her in the exact same way I view you.

Make of that what you will.

We don't know if how Obama's gonna do as president, nor if he's even going to run for a second term. But I seriously hope that Sarah Palin never gets elected. Because I would rather have another Bush than Sarah.

I admit... i like her honesty.
What other candidate would say they don't know what the job they're applying for does?

of course, that doesn't mean I'd vote for her... :p

She's running for president.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090705/ap_ ... _resigning

"I am now looking ahead and how we can advance this country together with our values of less government intervention, greater energy independence, stronger national security, and much-needed fiscal restraint," she said.

[...]

"How sad that Washington and the media will never understand; it's about country," the statement said. "And though it's honorable for countless others to leave their positions for a higher calling and without finishing a term, of course we know by now, for some reason a different standard applies for the decisions I make."

She's not quitting, she's answering a higher calling! Just like how Obama resigned as Senator so he could run.... wait, no he didn't. ;)

By all means, do so. There is no better guarantee for a Democrat victory. ;) She has as much chance of being elected as Cheney has of winning a beauty contest.

And you're one to talk about being "terrified" by politicians we don't support. What did you call Obama again? "The Dark Lord," right? The embodiment of evil power in Tolkien's 3rd Age? Ha ha ha!

Wasn't the world going to end in 2012?

Then again, one would imagine that some Chinese government person would take control over the USA by then. They already own the country after all.

It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

She plays the part well enough and speaks the consoling words people like to hear in this recession, but her "scriptedness" is just so obvious that I would be terrified of any mishap if I were among her supporters - it makes Obama's teleprompter dependence seem mild.

:p i'm just kidding, unless Obama screws up....really really badly, he would run and win against Palin.

He already fucked up, he put a political weasel in charge of the Transformers program and was effectivly shutting it down after blaming the Autobots for the destruction of a U.S. Carrier, all due to the fact it was assumed the Decepticonz were on earth for the sole purpose of getting revenge on the Autobots.

What a dick.
