People complain when there is high price, and when the price get low... they start to complain again - what do you people exactly want? People are never satisfied - a major problem of democracy.

There's a difference between complaining and asking why the hell something's happening. And it's got less to do with democracy and more to do with materialism, IMO.

It's been rising here, and, due to our proximity to said drills, and refineries, we generally have some of the cheapest gas.

Though people get to shout when they are dissatisfied in democracy only.. so if people are never satisfied they will never stop shouting.

Why should they stop shouting?

First oil prices around the world have been falling for months before the BP Oil Spill. Second, BP is paying Billions in damages to the US, which is also causing the prices to fall at a slower rate. Prices in PA have remained pretty much constant in the recession. They have been around $2.69 a gallon.

Less than two months ago (in my area) it was $2.89 a gallon. I'm not talking about since the recession, I'm talking about in the past few months.
Or are you referring to the Greek economy rather than the recession in the U.S.?

A single platform represents an exceedingly small proportion of global oil production.

Remember, the impact on daily production isn't how much is flowing out daily, but how much the platform was actually producing per day when it was operational.
