Its just the calm before the storm.

Because people are scooping oil out of the gulf and starting home refineries to produce their own gasoline, that's why.

In Zetskin, all gas operations have been nationalized, by the people. Our recent communist reformers have executed the main aristocracy and have raided the headquarters of the main energy companies, including Zetergy, BinzCrude, and the Royal Energy Company of the Blacksmore Family.

You sure about that, Sparky?

There's a difference between complaining and asking why the hell something's happening. And it's got less to do with democracy and more to do with materialism, IMO.

materialism leads to curiosity?

$39,000 is chump change. I sure hope thats not all it takes to buy off a president, cause almost anyone could afford it then. Hell, I could get a loan for it: "oh don't worry, its for bribing the president, I can pay it back after no problem"

A black man's soul is worth at least twice that amount. White souls are worth €50-75.

It's been rising here, and, due to our proximity to said drills, and refineries, we generally have some of the cheapest gas.

I expect the moratorium will shoot things up a little further soon too. :?

people are never satisfied in any government you weird crypto-fascist

Though people get to shout when they are dissatisfied in democracy only.. so if people are never satisfied they will never stop shouting.

Why should they stop shouting?

They have been around $2.69 a gallon.

Less than two months ago (in my area) it was $2.89 a gallon. I'm not talking about since the recession, I'm talking about in the past few months.
Or are you referring to the Greek economy rather than the recession in the U.S.?
