Should be "dost thou". "Thee" is the objective form; the nominative is "thou". What thou hast is like saying, "do him not like it?"

I think "writhing" sounds like what it means without being an onomatopoeia.

In English, I like the word Ostentatious. Sound and meaning both.

In my own Dutch, my favorite word is is "volledig". Which means "completely/totally", but what makes it fun is that in two parts it reads like "vol" (full) "ledig" (empty), making it a word that contradicts itself, in a way. Or, maybe, which makes it a one word poem.

Well, that was kinda the point, I was using "thee" to show I like it, even if it's grammatically wrong.

As you might guess I am a fan of sci-fi and Lovecraftian stories. I like the poetic, grand nature of the words. I guess in my mind the words themselves become tied to the vast tales they describe. While a word like leviathan could be used to describe a dog or big truck or something I imagine it being used to describe a spaceship the size of a moon or a far off creature who's very existence is incomprehensible to us.

I don't think there are many words that stick out in my mind as being personally unpleasant. Squelching was mentioned as an unpleasant word but it just reminds me of the squanch, a creature so ugly it hides itself away, so filled with sorrow. It is said the squanch will eventually melt away into a puddle of tears. I find the squanch endearing.
