"And I looked, and beheld a pale horse: his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him."

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are pretty much some of my favourite biblical figures ever.
I'm not really into Christianity or the Bible, but Revelation is freakin' intense.
But remember that the Captain belongs to the most dangerous enemy of truth and freedom, the solid unmoving cattle of the majority.
Oh, God, the terrible tyranny of the majority.

famine and disease are being delivered by the steed of global climate change.
war has always been over rated. and death has always been around anyway.

valhalla throws a great klingon party for those who are into that sort of thing.

it pales after a bit though.

at least it does if you have the imagination to be at least a little bit interested in creating something instead of being limited to the infantileism of the cheep easy destroying of everything.

Well, the Four Horsemen shot (aka three wise men and a spic if you want to be all racist) is pretty bangin...and I know no shots based off Norse, so I'll go with the horses.

Norse mythology, unless the four horsemen refer to the "New Atheists".

Hmmmmm.... got to say Norse.

The democratically elected parliament requires a unanimous vote to actually pass legalisation and with proportional representation and the number of extremists in parliament this is near impossible.

So the monarchy effectively rules by decree. I have achieved this through answering issues in a certain way... Unfortunately I can’t remember what those issues were. That plus a little bit of RP. Anyway my point is it’s easy to have moderate to high political freedoms and still have absolute power, you just have to be creative.

Huh. That's a rather unique and, I must say, deliciously evil approach. *golfclap*

I'd be inclined to side with the Norse mythology and deities rather than the Four Horsemen - although a battle between 'Angels' and 'Demons' would be... interesting I'd imagine.

Atleast after the Ragnarök the world will be reborn. Armageddon is a little more final.

So Norse wins for me. :p

The world gets re-born after Armageddon, as well. You get a new Heaven and a new Earth.

Armageddon is a little boring for me. Four gods wiping out humanity without any resistance. The only interesting parts were added on later about Christ vs Anti-Christ in a battle that would resemble something like Superman vs Bizarro Superman.

These endless X vs Y threads are really starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel. I mean, really, the Four Horsemen are figures from the book of Revelations and Norse Mythology is a collection of myths, legends and stories surrounding the Norse pantheon. How can there be a winner? What is the competition? What meaningful competition can even be held between biblical figures and a bunch of stories? Should we throw some books on Norse mythology and the relevant chapters of Revelations at each other and see which breaks first?
